The Jack Rice Show, Thursday, May 24, 2006.

Jack discusses the John Allen Mohammad and Lee Boyd Mulvo trials. Is it redundant to try these men again for a death and life sentence, respectively? It seems the justice is a legitimate question but balance that against the cost of millions of dollars. They are charged with the murders of 10 people and the attempted murders of three others. One has been sentenced to death in one case while the other, Malvo who was a juvenile at the time was sentenced to life in prison. Either way, it can't get any worse. Therefore, does it make sense to spend even more to kill Mohammad twice? In a perfect world with unlimited resources, maybe. But with our financial limitations . . . On the other hand, how much is justice worth to these indivdual families.

A judge ordered a man who sexually assaulted a child to ten years probation in lieu of a prison sentence because he is only 5'1" tall. And yet, the world doesn't treat people the same anywhere else.

Jason Leopold, a rogue journalist's story. A self proclaimed liar, thief and drug addict seeks redemption. Does he deserve it? Does anyone? Can the world ever truly forgive and forget? Should it?
