Jack speaks with defense attorney Kyle White about inmates suffering from mental illness and whether their health issues are addressed in the penal system. Considering the fact that an estimated 1/3 of all prisoners in Minnesota have mental illness issues, is the state doing enough? Could a life have seen spared had Rodney Christenson, the man accused of beating to death a fellow inmate, had been on his medication?

Many workers are saying they can do it any more. They can work as hard as they have because the rest of their life is suffering. Phyllis Moen, McKnight Presidential Chair in Sociology at the U of M shares her research on middle class, dual income earners quality of life and more.
