The Jack Rice Show, Tuesday, September 19, 2006.

All eyes are focusing on the United Nations today as the 61st year of the General Assembly takes place today. Both U.S. and Iranian Presidents will speak today and things are expected to be very tense. We will start the show by going live to the UN with CBS Corrrespondent Pamela Falk.

We will then turn to Larry Haas, former Communications Director and Press Secretary to Vice President Al Gore.
We then turn to Thomas Kilgonnen, who explains in his book, Diplomatic Divorce, why we should leave the United Nations, how it is corrupt and why what they do is not in our best interest.

We then turn to Ryan Sager, a columnist with the New York Post and and an admitted conservative who says that the Republican Part has lost its way. It now spends more than the Democratis, lost the concept of small government and doesn't understand the concept of privacy. He describes this in his book, The Elephant in the Room.

Finally, we will turn to Ariana Huffington. She is always very outspoken and always says what she thinks. You can love her or hate her but you have to respect her passion and intelligence. Read her most personal book ever, On Becoming Fearless.
