Court TV Turns to Criminal Defense Attorney Jack Rice
There are several really big criminal cases in the news this week and a couple of them are in the middle of closing arguments. The first involves the R. Kelly sex trafficking trial. The Feds are arguing that R. Kelly used his celebrity to sexually abuse young woman. After a 5 week trial, the jury will start deliberating soon.
The other case, State v. Janet Hinds involves a DWI charge. a hit and run, the death of an officer and then fleeing after the fact. One of the problems in this case was a lack of a blood alcohol level. Ms. Hinds did not turn herself in for almost a day and a half. This is certainly one of the limitations.
Jack Rice has handled countless DWIs, criminal sexual assault cases as well as murder cases including criminal vehicular homicide cases. On September 24th, Jack will join Court TV to discuss the cases, and where the jury is going next.
Hope you can watch.
