Collective Security or Go It Alone. Which is it in the Strait of Hormuz

President Trump unilaterally pulled out of the Iranian Nuclear Deal despite support for it from the Brits, Germans, French, Russian and Chinese as well as the Iranians. Further, there was no evidence that the Iranians had actually invited the deal. Since then, Trump has attacked the European Union, NATO, the International Court and just about every international collective agreement in existence.

Now, magically, he is trying to get the Brits and others to be part of an international coalition to stand up to Iran who feels that they have a knife to their throat. Its because they do. As tensions grow daily, nobody really knows how it will play out.
