Jack Rice Appears on the BBC to Discuss Why Evidence and Emotion are Powerful Parts of the Chauvin Murder Trial.

As we approach the end of the first week of testimony in the Derek Chauvin murder trial, I can’t help but feel that the prosecution must be pleased. They have combined specific evidentiary testimony that will intellectually drive the jury. At the same time, they have been able to get in some gut-wrenching visceral stuff that will want to make the jury lead with their heart.

Jack appears on BBC to talk about the trial. Because the British system is simply different when it comes to juries, Jack will talk a lot about the need to get a specific kind of jury. Once you get your jury and figure out what drivers then, you tweak your trial accordingly to move them. The Prosecution did that very well this week.
