Fair and impartial. This is the standard for a jury to handle criminal cases in Minnesota. Can they be fair and impartial and weigh the evidence to come up with an answer. However, to be honest, what I'm really looking for as a Minnesota criminal defense attorney is a jury that will find my client “Not Guilty.” So, are these standards different? Not in my book. If you are facing serious criminal charges, make sure you sit down with an experienced Board Certified Criminal Law Specialist.

"Do I want a fair jury? Absolutely, so long as they agree with my contention that my client didn't do it."

Minnesota criminal attorney Jack Rice appears on Court TV on 7/13/22 to discuss picking a jury, voir dire, and what I'm looking for. This can be one of the most important parts of a trial.

"If you get the wrong people on your jury, the evidence may not matter. At the same time, you get the right peopler, the evidence also may not matter."

If you are facing criminal charges, make sure you get the right people on the jury. Then, feed them what they need to understand why you are right. A good criminal defense attorney can help you do that.
