As a criminal defense attorney for a long time in Minneapolis/St. Paul, sitting on the Chauvin trial will be a real challenge for many. I think some people regularly want to see cops as the “good guys.” To see then as anything else will take a real shifting of their values rather than an embrace of them. This is what both sides we be seeking out during jury selection.
