Jack Will Be Teaching Trial Skills to Lawyers from Around the Country at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.

Going to law school can teach you a lot of things. Appearing in court can also teach you a lot of things. However, frequently, what it doesn’t teach you how to do is try a jury trial. Trying cases takes a very specific set of skills. As importantly, those skills are just something you are born with but rather something you need to cultivate.

I will be teaching at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA) this coming week. It’s very exciting to help young, and sometimes not so young, lawyers learn how to stand in front of juries and convince them os something. I have been lucky enough to teach lawyers all ver the country and even all over the world. I have taught them in Uganda, Thailand, Russia, Republic of Georgia and more.

This is going to be a lot of fun. Besides, it also helps the to hone my own skills. Never to late to learn more and be better. That’s my goal everyday.
